Create an Account (Individual User)

1. How long does it take to open an account?

It only takes 3 minutes to open an account after authenticating your email address.
(Please add our email domain, iwl.world, in your email safe list then request for a new verification email to be sent to your email.)

After opening an account, you can receive and deposit money using internal transfer and bank wire immediately. Normal members can only have an accumulated payout of $1,000 (8,000HKD).

If you would like to upgrade as an Executive member, you need to submit KYC for verification purposes. Normally, it takes 2 – 3 business days. Depending on the volume of applications we receive, it may take more. If after one week and you still have not received any response or is still unapproved, please contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.

2. What are the KYC documents?

KYC stands for "Know Your Customer". These are your identification documents(passport, driver's license, etc.) and proof of address (public fee receipts, resident card, etc).

  • Your identification documents
    This can be a document issued by your government or public agency. It must clearly show your name, gender, face photograph, date of birth, expiration date or date of issue (The expiration date must be more than three months or the issue date must be within three months). Example: passport, driver's license, Basic Resident Register card, etc.
  • Your address verification documents
    This can be a document issued by your government, financial or public institutions. It must clearly show your name, expiration date or date of issue (The expiration date must be more than three months or the issue date must be within three months).
    Example: driver's license, resident card, health insurance card, public fee receipt such as a bank statement

Your document must not exceed 5MB. And the following file formats are accepted: jpg, jpeg, pdf, png, and gif.
The document review will be completed within 1– 2 business days.
Please note that your uploaded documents must be colored, shows clear images and readable details in order to be accepted.

3. How many accounts can I create?

Only one account can be created per person. If you already have made multiple accounts, we will combine them as one account.

4. I have not received my authentication mail, what should I do?

Please check your Spam/Junk folder as it may have been filtered inadvertently by your email provider. If the email is not in your Spam/Junk folder, confirm if the setting can receive iwl.world domain mail and safelist mail, so then you can authenticate your email by changing your password through "Forgot your password"

Deposit & Withdrawal

1. How can I make a deposit?

You can top-up money to your iWallet account through the following:

  1. Deposit via international bank transfer

    You may send funds through international money transfer from your bank account to our designated account. Once we receive the money, it will be reflected on your iWallet account. We currently support twelve currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, SGD, HKD, CNY, IDR, PHP, MYR, THB, VND).

    Please kindly keep the remittance proof until funds have been reflected to your iWallet account.(This document can help you if you have any inquiry regarding your transaction)

    When depositing funds via money transfer, please make sure to include in the message field the symbols "IWL" and your iWallet account number. (Example: If the account number is 12345678, please enter IWL12345678)

    Kindly note that if the iWallet account number is not indicated in the deposit, the funds will not be reflected into your iWallet account. If there is an error on the deposit, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible along with the remittance proof.

    Kindly note if you do not input "IWL" in the message field. We might not credit the funds into your iWallet account. Please don’t forget "IWL" before your account No.

    Funds sent through bank transfer will be reflected into your iWallet account balance within 3 - 4 business days. However, it can also take up to 1 - 2 weeks, depending on the bank’s processing time especially when you transfer for the first time or relay the bank. If after one week the funds are not reflected in your iWallet account, please contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.

    An individual customer can only process money-in and money-out from a bank account under the same name registered on iWallet. However, we allow money-in from official money transfer firms (We accept payment only from the regular remittance substitution company which can enter your iWallet account number and name in the message column).

  2. Deposit via credit/debit card

    Top up funds to your USD, EUR or GBP account balance using your credit/debit card and it will be reflected immediately on the selected currency

    This option is only available for executive members. Log in to your account and submit your updated KYC documents in order to be verified as an executive member.

    Please purchase with your OWN credit card. Third-party cards, including cards from family members, will not be accepted. Credit card payments may be subjected to certain restrictions set by your bank, which are beyond our control; and in such cases, please contact the issuing bank/company directly.

  3. Deposit by purchasing a voucher through a local JP bank

    You can load money to your iWallet account by purchasing a voucher. The voucher can be settled through our designated local banks in Japan. As soon as we receive the money from the bank, the amount of the voucher you purchased (minus the transaction fee) will be instantly credited to your account in JPY currency.

    ※ This option is only available for executive members living in Japan.

    ※ Please use the bank account details provided to settle the payment. Be careful when providing the account number. iWallet will not be liable for any funds not reflected on the iWallet account due to customer’s inconsistency.

    ※ The maximum deposit amount is 500,000 JPY per month (exclusive of transaction fee). Please be careful not to exceed the limit.

    ※ Keep the remittance statement as it is necessary when making an inquiry or follow-up on your deposit.

    ※ A transfer fee may be assessed by your bank when paying for the voucher.

    ※ If you deposit after 3pm or on a Saturday, Sunday, national holiday, and other bank holidays, the amount will be reflected on your iWallet account the following working day. If you fail to receive it in your iWallet account in 2 business days, please feel free to contact us.

    ※ Please do not share the bank details to anyone.

    ※ Inconsistencies may result in funds not being reflected on the iWallet account.

    ※ The option to cancel any request for this payment method is not available. You may withdraw the funds instead once it has been reflected on your iWallet account.

  4. Deposit via China UnionPay

    You can load money into your iWallet account using your China UnionPay Card (must be issued from Mainland China). This option is only available to individual members with executive account status.

    ※ Members can deposit amount from CNY200 to CNY4,900 per transaction. The maximum daily limit is CNY 10,000.

    ※ The selected amount will be instantly credited into the CNY balance of your iWallet account.

    ※ A transaction fee, 1.80% of the deposited amount will be charged to the member.

    ※ The supported banks displayed on the payment page may be changed from time to time without prior notice.

    ※ This option is only available for members with bank account in China.

    ※ Only CNY currency is accepted.

  5. Deposit via China Local Bank Transfer

    You may transfer funds from your Chinese bank account to your iWallet account. This option is only available to members residing and has a bank account in Mainland China. Once you are logged in to your iWallet account, click the “Deposit” tab on the left part of the webpage, then select "China Local Bank Transfer.” You will then be prompted to choose the amount you wish to deposit into your iWallet account.

    ※ Please use the bank account details provided on the next page to settle the payment via electronic banking. Be careful when providing the account number, iWallet will not be liable for any funds not reflected on the iWallet account due to customer’s inconsistency.

    ※ Please pay for the exact amount. Payments must be made within one (1) hour from the time of your deposit application in order to avoid delays. For deposits made after an hour, please contact our Customer Support team so we can guide you with the next steps in order to have the funds credited to your iWallet account.

    ※ Please do not forget to indicate the reference number provided on the payment page when you settle your payments. If you fail to indicate your reference number, the deposit request will not be processed immediately.

    ※ You may deposit an amount from CNY 500 to CNY 50,000.

    ※ A transaction fee, 1.60% of the amount deposited, will be charged to the member. The funds will be reflected on your iWallet account.

    ※ Deposit via electronic banking is real time. The funds received will be instantly credited to your iWallet account. If you fail to receive it in your iWallet account after 2 business days, please contact our Customer Support team along with the remittance statement.

    ※ Keep the remittance statement as it is necessary when making an inquiry or follow-up on your deposit.

    ※ A transfer fee may be assessed by your bank when settling the amount.

    ※ We do not recommend payments via ATM or over the counter. Otherwise, your money will not be credited immediately and might take 7 business days to receive the funds.

    ※ The option to cancel any request for this payment method is not available. You may withdraw the funds once reflected on your iWallet account.

    ※ Once you have completed your payment, please return to the payment page and click the "complete the deposit" button to successfully credit your funds to your iWallet account.

    ※ For questions and inquiries, please contact our Customer Support along with the remittance statement.

    ※ This option is only available to individual members with executive account status.

  6. Deposit via Local Bank Transfer (Japan).

    Transfer funds from your Japanese Bank Account to your iWallet bank account. This option is available to all executive account members whose residing and has bank account in Japan.

    ※ Please use the bank account details provided to settle your deposit. Be careful when providing the account details. iWallet will not be liable for any funds not reflected on the iWallet account due to customer’s inconsistency.

    ※ A transaction fee, 2.3% of the deposited amount, will be deducted from the amount received. The remaining funds will be reflected on your iWallet account.

    ※ Please do not forget to indicate your iWallet account number starting with the letters "IWL" (e.g. IWL12345678) in the "Message" box. If you fail to indicate your iWallet account number, the deposit request will not be processed immediately.

    ※ Only JPY currency is accepted.

    ※ Keep the remittance statement, as it is necessary when making an inquiry or follow-up on your deposit.

    ※ A transfer fee may be assessed by your bank when settling the amount.

    ※ Remittance usually takes 3 business days to reflect on your iWallet account. If you fail to receive it in your iWallet account in 3 business days, please feel free to contact us.

    ※ The option to cancel any request once the remittance has been processed is not available. You may withdraw the funds once reflected on your iWallet account instead.

    ※ If you have questions or inquiries, please contact our customer support.

  7. Deposit via Cryptocurrency Solution.

    You can send your bitcoin amount and receive them as EUR in your iWallet account. To do so, please login to your iWallet account and click the “Deposit” tab on the left part of the webpage, then select "Cryptocurrency Solution.” Once you proceed to the Settlement page, a generated wallet address will be provided that you will be used in sending bitcoin.

    ※ Please use the Bitcoin wallet address provided in the Bitcoin Settlement Page to send bitcoin into your iWallet account.

    ※ The Bitcoin address can only be used once. iWallet will not be liable for any funds not reflected to your iWallet account due to reusing of the same Bitcoin address.

    ※ A transaction fee, 2.50% of the converted amount, will be charged per transaction.

    ※ After you complete the deposit transaction, the funds will be credited to your iWallet account within 3 hours. If you fail to receive it within 24 hours, please feel free to contact us.

    ※ A transfer fee may be assessed in your Bitcoin wallet.

    ※ The exchange rate will be based at the time the deposit was received. This may vary from time to time; Thus, iWallet will not be responsible for any currency loss.

  8. Deposit via Local Bank Transfer (Southeast Asia).

    You can send funds to your iWallet account using your local banks in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Once you are logged in to your iWallet account, click the “Deposit" tab and select the Local Bank Transfer (Southeast Asia).

    ※ A transaction fee, 2.80% of the deposit amount will be charged per transaction.

    ※ The supported banks displayed in the Remitting Bank selection will vary and depend on the iWallet account's country of registration.

    ※ The amount you deposited will be instantly credited to your iWallet account. The beneficiary currency will be based on the country of registration.

    ※ You can only deposit funds to your own iWallet account.

    ※ If you have not received the funds within 24 hours, please contact us along with your remittance statement.

    ※ Below is the deposit limitation per currency:

    VND:

    Standard Account Members: VND 300,000.00 - VND 100,000,000.00 per transaction.

    Executive Account Members: VND 300,000.00 - VND 290,000,000.00 per transaction.

    THB:

    Standard Account Members: THB 500.00 - THB 300,000.00 per transaction.

    Executive Account Members: THB 500.00 - THB 480,000.00 per transaction.

    MYR:

    Standard Account Members: MYR 50.00 - MYR 30,000.00 per transaction.

    Executive Account Members: MYR 50.00 - MYR 48,000.00 per transaction.

    IDR:

    Standard Account Members: IDR 200,000.00 - IDR 100,000,000.00 per transaction.

    Executive Account Members: IDR 200,000.00 - IDR 190,000,000.00 per transaction.

  9. Deposit via Cryptocoin Solution.

    Deposit funds via Cryptocoin Solution through your BTC(Bitcoin), XRP(Ripple), LTC(Litecoin), BCH(Bitcoincash), ETH(Etherium), DASH & ZEC(Zcash) account and receive them in EUR balance of your iWallet account. Please login to your iWallet account and click the “Deposit” tab on the left part of the webpage, then select "Cryptocoin Solution.” Once you proceed to the Settlement page, a QR Code and deposit address will be provided which you will use in sending your cryptocurrency.

    ※ Please use the autogenerated deposit address or QR Code provided on the next page to send cryptocurrency into your iWallet account.

    ※ For an easier deposit process, you may use the QR Code by scanning it from your cryptocurrency wallet, which will load the deposit address and amount automatically.

    ※ If your QR Code is not available, you may click the deposit address at the bottom of the page and it will automatically copy the deposit address.

    ※ Please pay for the exact amount indicated in the invoice. Payments must be made within fifteen (15) minutes from the time of your deposit application; Otherwise, the funds will not be credited to your iWallet account.

    ※ Once the payment has been completed, you will notice that the timer will disappear on the upper right corner of the payment page. This means that the system has already received the pending funds and is now waiting for the blockchain confirmation.

    ※ Please DO NOT re-use your old wallet address after the transaction has been completed (successful or failed). Reusing old deposit addresses to new deposit requests are subject to regular transaction fee but the funds will NOT be credited to your iWallet account.

    ※ Please note that the transaction is irreversible. iWallet has no obligation or liability if the transaction was not completed within the allotted time.

    ※ A transaction fee, 2.80% of the requested amount, will be charged per transaction.

    ※ A fee may be assessed by your cryptocurrency wallet.

    ※ After you complete the deposit transaction, the funds will be credited to your iWallet account within 15 minutes. If you fail to receive the money within 15 minutes, please feel free to contact us.

    ※ The option to cancel any request once the remittance has been processed is not available. You may withdraw the funds once reflected on your iWallet account instead.

    ※ iWallet will not be held responsible for any damage or loss, due to exchange rate fluctuation.

2. How can I withdraw the balance from my iWallet account?

You can withdraw the funds from your iWallet account through the following:

  1. Withdraw funds via international bank transfer

    Transfer funds directly from your iWallet account to your personal bank account via international remittance. Once you are logged in to your iWallet account, click the “Withdrawal” tab on the left part of the webpage and then select “International Bank Transfer.” You will then be prompted to provide the bank details where you would like to receive the funds. Choose the country of the receiving bank. After which, the branch name and field code will appear.

    ※ For individual customers, the withdrawal fee is 0.5% of the amount being withdrawn; or a minimum of USD 35.00, whichever is higher.

    ※ Please make sure that the correct bank details are provided since additional charges for returned or failed bank transfers may apply.

    ※ Beneficiary bank or intermediary bank fees will be shouldered by the customer

  2. Withdraw funds using your iWallet-purchased Prepaid Card

    You can easily withdraw funds from any supported ATMs worldwide by transferring your iWallet account balance to your iWallet-purchased Prepaid Card. iWallet offers a range of prepaid cards and every card has a different top-up procedure. Please check the dedicated manual shared by our team or notify us directly so we can guide you with the process.

  3. Send funds to another iWallet account member

    Transfer funds to another iWallet account holder by choosing the "Internal Transfer" option from the left side menu of the webpage. You will then be prompted to provide the iWallet account number or e-mail address of the person you would like to transfer funds to.

    ※ Individual-to-Individual transfers are subject to a 0.5% fee of the total amount transferred. This fee will be charged to the receiver.

    ※ Individual Members can transfer funds to Corporate Members with no charge but, Corporate Member will be charged 1% of the received amount.

    ※ Corporate members can send funds to Individual Members with 1% charge of the transfer amount or maximum of $10.00 fee.

    ※ Corporate to Corporate transfer will be charged 1% of the transfer amount for the initiator

  4. Withdraw funds via local bank transfer (China)

    Transfer funds directly from your iWallet account to your personal bank account in China. Please take note that this option is only available to members residing and has bank account in China

    Once you are logged in to your iWallet account, click the “Withdrawal” tab on the left part of the webpage and then select "Local Bank Transfer (China).” You will then be prompted to provide the bank details where you would like to receive the funds.

    ※ A transaction fee of 1.50%, of the withdrawn amount, will be charged to the member.

    ※ This option is only available to individual members with executive account status.

    ※ Executive Account Members can withdraw from CNY 500.00 to CNY 50,000 per transaction.

    ※ The funds will be instantly credited to the bank account provided. If you have not received the funds within 24 hours, please contact us.

  5. Transfer Funds via Transfer Agency Service (Japan)

    Transfer funds from your iWallet account to your Japanese Savings Bank Account. This option is only available to individual members with executive account status and residing in Japan.

    ※ Please make sure to enter the correct bank information details to avoid cancellation of request.

    ※ Name must be written in Katakana characters.

    ※ The withdrawal fee is 0.5% of the amount being withdrawn; or a minimum of USD 35.00, whichever is higher.

    ※ For non-savings bank account type or incorrect bank details, your request will be cancelled and a refund fee will be applied.

    ※ Minimum amount is USD 85.00 that is equivalent to JPY amount per transaction; Maximum amount is USD 50,000.00 that is equivalent to JPY amount per transaction.

  6. Withdraw Funds via Local Bank Transfer (Southeast Asia)

    Withdraw funds from your iWallet account to your personal bank in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. This option is available to individual members with executive account status and residing in the mentioned countries.

    ※ A transaction fee, 2.00% (Minimum VND 10,000.00/THB 20.00/IDR 10,000.00/MYR 2.00) of the withdrawal amount will be charged to the member.

    ※ The supported banks displayed in the Beneficiary Bank selection will vary and depend on the iWallet account's country of registration.

    ※ The withdrawn amount will be credited to your bank account in 5-10 minutes. If you have not received the funds in 30 minutes, please contact us along with your reference number.

    ※ Below is the withdrawal limitation per currency:

    VND: VND 300,000.00 - VND 300,000,000.00 per transaction.

    THB: THB 500.00 - THB 500,000.00 per transaction.

    MYR: MYR 50.00 - MYR 50,000.00 per transaction.

    IDR: IDR 300,000.00 - IDR 200,000,000.00 per transaction.

Prepaid card

1. How to apply for a Prepaid Card

If you wish for prepaid card, you may feel free to apply from our support service after opening an account.

  • Select [card application] in subject, (customer could apply for 1 card). We will guide you through the procedure and cost of card application

2. How long will it takes for the card to be delivered?

Normally, it may take up to a month.

3. Can I use the card for both ATM withdrawals and shopping?

Yes. You can use it to affiliated stores with logo that is on cards

4. Can I withdraw my balance to any ATM?

You may not withdraw your balance from old ATM machine or ATM machine with low security level that haven’t been updated.

5. What is the PIN?

The PIN is the password used for ATM and shopping; it’s 4-6 digits provided by our card provider. It is an important number, so you should not reveal it to anyone even to the sales person. The PIN is not printed on your card, so it is suggested to list it down in case you forget it. Please keep it secure and private.

Others

1. I forgot my password, what should I do?

You can retrieve your password by clicking on the “Forgot your password” link. For security purposes, the iWallet team does not have access to passwords.

2. I forgot the log-in ID and e-mail address that I used for my iWallet account, what should I do?

Please contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.
